A Day in the Life of Emmitt

Early this past April we brought home a sweet little creature (or terror, depending on the hour), Emmitt!! Emmitt has such a fun personality - he loves to snuggle on a daily basis and is ALWAYS happy :) It's been such a fun year with him.

While he can be mischievous on occasion, He's taught us a lot and we've made quite a few fun memories because of this little guy. He does not disappoint. Since Spring arrived early in Pittsburgh, we've been soaking up every free moment to enjoy the beautiful outside weather. Saturday was no exception and we seized the day with vigor! 

                                     We started out with a healthy (wink, wink) breakfast...

.....and Bible Study (Emmitt often joins us in this endeavor). We call him our 80 lb. lap dog!

Then, we were off to the dog park!!

Emmitt has made a lot of friends, which seems to occur quickly after a quick sniff of a rear end!

Emmitt was as happy as a clam despite being quarantined to the trunk of the car due to having muddy paws from his outing.

Emmitt was a wet (he had his first bath in three months) and sleepy dog by the end of the day!
